GROX vs Hark
A personal AI from the lab Brett Adcock (the founder of Figure) started in 2026. Hark Pro, out since 6 Oct 2026, is a chat with memory plus "Handoff", its own cloud computer, on iPhone, Android and the web. Here is how it compares with GROX — including where Hark is ahead.

- Nothing to install or host — it runs in your browser; GROX Desktop adds the folders on your own computer.
- Anything that sends, posts, pays or deletes waits for your approval first, on a card that says exactly what it will do.
- By default it only uses AI providers that agreed in writing not to train on what you send them.
- Bring your own AI keys on any plan, the free one included.
Where Hark is ahead
- Native apps for iPhone and Android. GROX works in a phone's browser and has no app of its own.
- "Panels": small live apps made from one sentence that refresh on their own. The closest thing in GROX is a page it keeps up to date.
- Every core feature is free; paying only buys more use.
Price
GROX: Free to start with 300 credits and no card. One plan opens everything: $29 a month or $278 a year, with 2,000 credits every month; credits you buy never expire.
Hark: Free. $20 a month buys twice the use and $100 a month ten times (Hark's Hark Pro article, 6 Oct 2026).
