GROX vs Lindy
An AI assistant for work. Since August 2026 it is a team "AI employee" that lives in Slack; it also books meetings when you copy it on an email, records meetings and makes phone calls. Here is how it compares with GROX — including where Lindy is ahead.

- Nothing to install or host — it runs in your browser; GROX Desktop adds the folders on your own computer.
- Anything that sends, posts, pays or deletes waits for your approval first, on a card that says exactly what it will do.
- By default it only uses AI providers that agreed in writing not to train on what you send them.
- Bring your own AI keys on any plan, the free one included.
Where Lindy is ahead
- It is made for a whole team in Slack, with shared folders and team meeting recordings. GROX is one assistant for one person.
- Its own phone number that answers calls as your receptionist (US and Canada). GROX can call for you, but has no number that answers yet.
- Booking links that replace Calendly, and booking a meeting when you copy it on an email. GROX does neither yet.
- It records your meetings and keeps the notes. GROX does not join meetings yet.
Price
GROX: Free to start with 300 credits and no card. One plan opens everything: $29 a month or $278 a year, with 2,000 credits every month; credits you buy never expire.
Lindy: Free to try with $50 of credits for 7 days, no card. Team is $49.99 a month per user with 5,000 credits pooled across the team; more credits are $10 per 1,000 (Lindy's pricing page, 28 Oct 2026).
